Some of the biggest news was made in the U.S. this past weekend. Osama Bin Laden has been killed. Americans everywhere are celebrating the big news. However, Americans feel that they should be given proof of his death. They want to see pictures and videos of the killing of Osama. The White House has just released that they are not releasing any pictures of Osama dead. Do you think that this is reasonable?

I definitely think that this is reasonable. Just because we are happy that one of the biggest enemies of America is dead, does not mean that we need to go over board. Americans need to draw the line at some point. Even though it would make some Americans happy to see the pictures, we need to think about what other countries will think of us. We especially need to think about Pakistan and all of the other Al Qeada members. I don't that would help our situation with them at all.
I do not think this is reasonable. We as Americans are just as important as the government officials in the senst that we have a right to know the details of what happened. The disgression of the photos can be handled by the people. Washington D.C. has the right to release these details and photos to the public because were are just as much a part of this country as they are. We are what makes this country what it is. They just run it.
ReplyDeleteI think that we should be able to see his body. There have been many people say that we really have not killed bin Laden, so we should be assured of his death. Sure, it would offend the Al Qaeda members, but no one else will be mad. It's not like Al Qaeda wasn't mad before.
